The owners of Bottega Louie, a downtown Los Angeles restaurant, market, bakery, and bar set an opening date: April 6. The space previously housed a Brooks Brothers store will host a multifaceted space complete with exhibition kitchen.
Last March, Angelenic posted a tentative menu. Chef Sam Marvin’s menu has changed in the past year, but Bottega Louie spokesperson Nicole Tilley did create some expectations. For example, you should expect to find a “very flexible menu” with “authentic Neapolitan style pizza” and shareable plates. In the “bottega,” a display case will host over 100 different prepared foods.
Tilley described the Bottega Louie space as “European in design. Stunning millwork and brass appliqué throughout the entire facility with 17-foot high ceilings give it a very open feeling. The entire space is framed by a beautiful pizza oven in the restaurant.”
