Chef Michael Cimarusti and front of house partner Donato Poto recently rolled out weekend brunch at strong>Connie & Ted’s. The chic West Hollywood seafood restaurant honors his mom’s parents, who lived in Rhode Island. The Brunch Beverages menu reads, “If it is before noon, we won’t tell.” In this case, whole milk and coffee syrup arrive frothy in the glass, dusted with nutmeg. Another flourish worth noting is the ability to add Selvarey cacao infused rum for $4. Rum makes brunch even more enjoyable on at least two levels.
