During LA Beer Week, 38 Degrees hosts Ultimate Flight Night, an event involving servers in flight attendant outfits serving themed beer-flights of best-in-class brews. Really though, it’s possible to build your own Ultimate Flight almost any time of year from Clay Harding’s list in Alhambra. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed Beachwood LBC IPA, Eagle Rock All Your Oat DIPA, and most sessionable of all, Pizza Port Carlsbad Shoulder Hopper IPA.

This golden IPA registers 4.3% ABV and displays beautiful hop-backed citrus flavors. I could easily drink a bottomless glass all night, if 38 Degrees didn’t offer such intriguing alternatives.
