Los Angeles Hot Dogs Worth Seeking

Hot Dog Los Angeles

A human sized, ketchup-crazed, anthropomorphic hot dog greets diners at a stand outside Home Depot Glendale.

Lisa Simpson had a misguided vision for forming hot dogs in the famed 1995 Simpsons episode, “Lisa The Vegetarian.” Maybe pigeon parts, shoe leather, and possibly worse, did make their way into the mix before Sinclair Lewis exposed meatpacking industry horrors in his eye-opening 1906 novel, The Jungle. These days, hot dog contents are far less suspect. Even a basic stadium hot dog with ketchup and mustard can be pretty delicious. I’ll skip popular, obvious Los Angeles hot dog picks like Dog Haus, Hot Dog on a Stick, and Pink’s. Learn about my favorite Los Angeles hot dogs since 2021 ranging from classic to fancy and global. At some point, I’ll also add a corn dog and Korean dog to the list. Why not?
