Library Bar Introduces Food

Bar Los Angeles

Library Bar has earned acclaim in downtown Los Angeles for their specialty cocktails and beer selection. About a month ago, the Times’ Jessica Gelt first reported that Library Bar owners Will Shamlian and Michael Leko intended to add food. Last night, the duo began serving a concise food menu after consulting with friend/chef Nick Coe. The nine dishes are available Monday through Friday from 5 PM – 11 PM.

Here’s the full menu:


Grilled Artichoke ($10) with lemon garlic confit
Pork Belly Skewers ($6) with spicy maple glaze, cilantro, lime
Devilled Marrowbones ($9) with shaved fresh horseradish, shallots and parsley with grilled bread
Steak Fries ($6) tossed with hot pork fast and sea salt, with hickory dipping sauce
French Fries ($5) fresh cut, with seasoned salt


The Library Burger ($10) with grilled onions, housemade pickles, Gruyere, arugula. w/French fries ($13)
Hickory Burger ($10) with grilled onions, Tillamook cheddar, iceberg, hickory sauce. w/French fries ($13)
Pork Belly Sandwich ($10) with arugula, tomatoes, housemade pickles, grilled sourdough. w/French fries ($13)
Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($8) with Asiago and Gruyere, tomato tapenade, sourdough. w/French fries ($11)
