According to chef-owner Tony Alcazar, “Join us as we host Cismontane Brewing Co. for a 3-course late Spring Beer Pairing Dinner, Wednesday, May 25th from 7-11pm. No tickets or reservations are needed for this special event. Chef Tony will be whipping up 3 dishes to pair with 4 special brews from our friends at Cismontane. Eagle Rock Brewery

According to the update from ERB, “Flowing at the tap room will be Solidarity, Revolution, Manifesto and Equinox. TONIGHT: Come and join us at City Tavern in Culver City for a beer pairing dinner where they’ll be serving up some delicious eats with some special beers that we’ve been working on just for the occasion. The theme of the dinner is “Spring Infusions” so we’ve got fun variations of your favorite beers: Vanilla Solidarity, Fennel Manifesto, Loquat Equinox, and Thyme Revolution that will be presented. There may even be a keg of Yearling, our anniversary Flanders red ale, at the event…just sayin’. Space is limited, so be sure to call City Tavern for your reservation soon! Also, This month’s Beer School class is all about Saison. Come learn all about this traditional farmhouse-style ale from Drew Beechum (the man who wrote the book on homebrewing) and taste some great saisons. It’s the perfect way to prime your palate for the summer!

The class will take place in the Eagle Rock Brewery taproom on Tuesday 5/24/11 from 7pm to 9pm. As usual, the taproom will be open at 6p for those registered in the class to come in to pickup the course materials and enjoy a pre-class beer. Ladyface Ale Companie

According to Alex Davis at Library Alehouse, “American Craft Beer Week rolls on this weekend at the Alehouse! There should be some leftovers from Brouwerij West and Karl Strauss, and on Saturday Night we have Bootlegger’s in the house with Dry-Hopped ESB, Black Phoenix and 78 Anniversary!

As a late American Craft Beer Week addition, we’ll have Sculpin and Habanero Sculpin on Sunday! We’re also cooking up a spicy pairing for the Habanero Sculpin so keep an eye on the facebook page!

Tuesday May 24 we have our monthly non-profit night with Sustainable Streets. Don’t forget this Saturday is the first Pirates Festival in West LA at the Olympic Collection HQ on Sawtelle and Olympic. Great way to celebrate the end of Craft Beer Week with a lot of beer for four hours in the afternoon.
