BREADBAR and LearnAboutWine pairs seafood with vino in Century City.

On February 19 from 7 PM – 10 PM, BREADBAR Century City hosts “GO FISH : a tasting of fish + wine,” with eight seafood-focused small plates from Chef Noriyuki Sugie and an equal number of wine pairings from Ian Blackburn of LearnAboutWine.

The pairings are as follows:

1. Sardine flat bread, black olive powder (Crispy Loire Valley White)
2. Squid noodle Sashimi, Yuzu Ponzu (Riesling – bone dry)
3. Chilean Sea Bass with Caramelized Miso (The joy of great burgundy)
4. Monkfish Vadouvan, Crispy Pancetta (Gamay Noir that will change your mind)
5. Mackerel Confit, Guinness Mustard (Cabernet Franc from Loire Valley)
6. BREADBAR’s signature Black Cod slider (Rhone Red – Yes 2007 is Amazing!)
7. Tuna Avocado Kushiage, Hickory Salt (Classic Aged Bordeaux)
8. Lemon Sorbet (Sparkling Wine)

GO FISH costs $85 per person, all-inclusive, and $69 for LearnAboutWine Vintage Members. If you want to attend, you have to purchase tickets in advance at www.learnaboutwine.com.
