On May 29, The Bruery is celebrating its third anniversary at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, with sessions running from 10:30 AM – 2 PM and 3:30 PM – 7 PM. They’re offering two tiers of tickets: $35 for general admission, which includes a souvenir glass and 10 four-ounce tasting tickets; and $50 for VIP, which adds access to rare beers like Black Tuesday, Chocolate Rain, Oude Tart and Pinotlambicus. Unlike their previous anniversary parties, which took place at the Placentia brewery, they moved the event to make room for more than a dozen SoCal craft breweries, including Ballast Point Brewing Company, Tustin Brewing Company, Kern River Brewing Company and Craftsman Brewing Company. 100% of proceeds from the event go to Lestonnac Free Clinic, which has been providing free medical and dental care in Orange County since 1979.
The Bruery generously donated two pairs of VIP passes to Food GPS readers. To become eligible, just comment below and on two other Food GPS posts. I’ll announce two winners on Food GPS and Twitter on the night of May 25.
May 25, 2011 Update: Congratulations to Jenn and Nicole Grabowski on winning the VIP passes. Enjoy The Bruery 3rd Anniversary Party!

Give me these tickets! I’ll let you borrow my Nintendo 64 for the weekend, give you my pog collection, or you can meet my grandpa. You only get to pick one, so choose wisely. I <3 The Bruery.

The Bruery makes some of the best and unique beers in SoCal. I also love the provisions store in Orange, best place to pair cheese and beer. Congrats on 3 years! I hope to be there for this one any many more in the future!

I wandered into the Bruery one black Tuesday. Chocolate-colored rain and trade winds played their role outside. The Bruery’s selection and atmosphere fermented my spirit, enough to fill a barrel with happiness tears. I’d love to go with that other Luzwick in the the comments section. 😉

Patrick Rue is one of the LA Beer Superdudes, like Jeremy and Steve Raub, Dean Lynne of the Great American Beer co (contract brewer of Hollywood Blonde), and Mark Jilg. Guys like that will turn this into a great beer town! Sounds like a fun afternoon!
