Food GPS Giveaway: Radio Room VIP Package

Bar Los Angeles

The Radio Room returns to The Edison on May 25, featuring three guest bartenders making world-class cocktails in a subterranean downtown pleasure palace. The Edison Director of Spirits Joseph Brooke is unleashing an all-star roster for the event, including Brooke’s mentor Vincenzo Marianella (Copa D’Oro), H. Joseph Ehrmann (Elixir) and Hamish McShane (Bayswater Brasserie).

The Radio Room officially begins at 8 PM, but one Food GPS reader is eligible to win a pass for a VIP preview that begins at 7 PM. The winner and their guest will meet the visiting bartenders, taste the first drinks of the night from each bartender, enjoy family meal with the entire Edison family and relax at your reserved table for the rest of the night (drink tickets in hand). The cost to you: absolutely nothing. To become eligible, just comment below and on two other Food GPS posts. I’ll announce the winners on Food GPS and Twitter on the night of May 24.

MAY 24 UPDATE: CONGRATULATIONS TO BENTOBOXX FOR WINNING THE GIVEAWAY!!!

Here’s the full Radio Room menu, to tantalize you even more:

CARIBBEAN BUZZ PUNCH
A refreshing mixture of rum and Amontillado Sherry pinched with citrus and kissed with clover honey. Dreamed up by H. Joseph Ehrmann himself, the ideal garnish would have to be a hammock slung between two palm trees on a remote Pacific island. We’ll see what we can do.

LITTLE ORPHAN APPLE
A San Francisco original brought to you by H. Joseph Ehrmann. Cucumber-infused organic vodka married with Aperol, agave and fresh fuji apple. Bright, refreshing and endearing – You can order as many as you’d like, just make sure you don’t call her that.

THE EMERALD
Courtesy of Los Angeles’ own Vincenzo Marianella (by way of Tolmezzo, Italy), this gem is a mixture of Oxley gin and elderflower with fresh muddled grapes and sage leaves. So attractive, you could wear it as jewelry, but wouldn’t you prefer to drink it instead?

THE SNAKEBITE #2
A bold, potent and yet refined concoction of Bacardi 8 rum, Aperol, Maraschino Liqueur and Snakeroot bitters, concocted by Vincenzo Marianella. What might have been considered illegal a few years ago is now begging for you to bite back.

CHAIRMAN’S MAI TAI
“Trader Hamish’s” twist on the classic tiki tipple. Bacardi 8 rum accented with robust notes of vanilla, almond and orange. Kick off summer with this delicious concoction by Hamish McShane.

THE MADAM
A sultry and unapologetic blend of Oxley gin, Lillet blanc and grapefruit bitters, courtesy of Australia’s own Hamish McShane. Always there when you need her, she won’t tell if you won’t…
