My 2012 Taiwan Trip left me longing for more food from the island republic. Remy’s Noodle Palace in the City of Industry is one Taiwanese standout finds so far. Taipei native Remy Liu has a robust menu at Remy’s Noodle Palace. He serves appetizers, noodle soups, and some of my favorite dumplings in the San Gabriel Valley: Special Pork Pot Sticker ($5.95).

The oversized, scallion-flecked pork dumplings sport thin, griddled wrappers that are open at both ends. Be careful when pulling the pot stickers to your mouth, since the juicy dumplings inevitably leak. Pickles are another nice touch, since they lend a light, tart sweetness to porcine proceedings.
