Celebrity Chef Classic attracts chefs like Todd Gray from Equinox in D.C. [Celebrity Chef Classic]

For Angelenos looking to make a quick culinary escape, the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa is hosting a blowout food event from November 13-15, titled the Celebrity Chef Classic. Participants include gastro heavyweights Alan Wong, Blue Ginger chef Ming Tsai, Equinox chef Todd Gray, Ballard Inn chef Budi Kazali, and both Salvatore Martone (Pastry Chef) and Jamie West (Executive Chef) from the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. The weekend’s activities include a round of golf on Saturday with the chefs and several Senior PGA pros on the George C. Thomas-designed course, a Friday night cocktail party and a Saturday gala dinner.

The event costs $1,450 per person (double occupancy) or $1,850 per person (single occupancy) and includes two nights accommodations, unlimited golf, Friday’s welcome reception, Saturday’s gala dinner, breakfast and lunch. Proceeds from the Celebrity Chef Classic benefit Share Our Strength, an organization that works to eradicate childhood hunger in America.
