“Homebrew Demo w/ERB Brewer Erick Garcia: Curious about making your own beer at home? Looking for new friends to brew with? Wanna hone your brewing skills? Or just looking for new brewing techniques or recipes to add to your repertoire? We’ve got just the solution!! And, since we’re in a brewery, as opposed to the garage, the batch we brew will eventually go on tap in the tasting room! Come watch ERB Lead Brewer (and Maltose Falcon) Erick Garcia brews up a batch. He’ll be brewing a batch of Revolution as a base to experiment with several different yeast strains. The cost is $12 and will include a simple lunch and a pint of one of our house beers. The taps will be available at their usual prices if you’re still feeling thirsty. You’re also welcome to bring your own homebrews to share or to get objective opinions. Space is limited, so be sure to rsvp to save your spot soon! It will be a full brew day, so be prepared to spend some quality time with your favorite brewery staff and to make some tasty beverage!”

Golden Road Brewing

“Every Thursday at 4pm, The Pub at Golden Road will be tapping a small cask of limited edition specialty cask-conditioned beer. Quantity is very limited, so this week’s beer will only be available for the next few weeks on THURSDAY evenings ’til the cask runs dry.”

“The After Midnight Moo milk (sweet) stout is flowing for the first time. Creamy and sweet, even those who don’t normally like dark beers will find the Moo surprisingly drinkable. Mark your calendars — In less than a month (March 20th), the Lab is holding a beer pairing dinner featuring the beer of the Lagunitas Brewing Company. Chef Moez has already prepared the menu which includes Saffron Risotto with Bay Scallops (served with Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’) and IPA Braised Short Ribs. Reserve your spot now at (818) 735-0091.”

Ladyface Ale Companie

From Robyn Britton at Ladyface: “This week’s cask, “Yakama Thunder,” features our Chesebro IPA with extra Cascade hops. Joining the Ladyface ales on tap are Ballast Point Calico, and Sierra Nevada’s Northern Hemisphere and Ovila Quad. Because so many people have been asking, we want to confirm that, yes, we did have Pliny The Younger this past Monday. We did it quietly, it was thrilling, and gone in two hours.

Music Monday, February 27th , sees Mike West performing at Ladyface from 6:00-10:00pm and every Tuesday is Bottled Beer Tuesday with all ales in the Ladyface cellar 20% off. We just brought in a well-reviewed gluten-free Belgian beer – Brasserie de Brunehaut’s Blonde. Hope to see lots of you at ColLAboration’s Winterfest on the 26th. There’ll be Ladyface on tap! Follow us on Facebook or Twitter for all the latest news. Cheers!”
