Full Service Coffee Cappuccino [CLOSED]

Coffee Los Angeles

Most people drive-through, but Full Service Coffee Co., does have benches and oil barrels.

Fill ‘er up no longer just applies to gas thanks to Full Service Coffee Co., a retooled 1940s service station that provides a far different type of fuel in Koreatown. The collaboration from business partners Edoardo Chavarin, John Juniper, Jeff Solorio, and Benjamin Montoya looks just like a retro gas station. Drive over a wire and hear a bell ring upon arrival, a touch that’s true to the building’s original function. Look closer and find a two-group La Marzocco GB5 espresso machine and Verve Coffee beans. Most people drive thru for caffeine, but Full Service Coffee Co. does host three picnic tables with red umbrellas. I ordered a very respectable Cappuccino ($4) that a barista served in a stylish ceramic mug. The owners clearly care about coffee, but don’t take themselves too seriously, resulting in a singular L.A. coffee experience.
