On November 26, Street Gourmet LA founder Bill Esparza posted about a trip he took to a beachside restaurant called Mi Costa in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, writing, ”Topolobampo Might Be Where the Guide Book Sends You, But Playa Maviri is Where the Locals Eat.” He says the twenty minute cab ride from Los Mochis to try Mi Costa’s pescado zarandeado is “worth it, and any less of an effort will haunt you forever.”
