For Mardi Gras, Uncle Darrow's combines flavorful Cajun food with charity.

On February 28 from 1-5 p.m., Uncle Darrow’s hosts their 9th Annual “Mardi Gras West,” featuring a crawfish boil, dancing, raffles and live music from T-Lou and Super Hot Zydeco Band.

Funds raised and on-site donations will benefit Soldiers’ Angels, an organization that sends care packages to wounded and sick soldiers at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Uncle Darrow’s “Mardi Gras West” will also benefit Evey Loyo, who recently lost his legs and earning ability due to diabetes.
