When a restaurant decides that the last four digits of their phone number should be EGGS, customers should be in store for a serious breakfast. All Day delivered on that promise and then some. They created an entire menu section, called “Eggs and More,” which also featured eggs on an “everyday” breakfast plate and in a breakfast salad. Still, I couldn’t resist their One-Handed breakfast sandwich.
Camila Ramos, a former barista champion from Panther Coffee, has run this coffee bar and cafe since late May in Park West. This haggard neighborhood resides north of downtown Miami and south of Wynwood and Edgewater. Park West is probably best known for late-night clubs at the moment, but is seeing signs of new life. A coffee bar like All Day is often an early sign for neighborhoods on the rise.
A neon phoenix signals your arrival at an airy cafe with a high ceiling and driftwood “chandelier.” All Day features more than one egg sandwich on their menu. My first foray involved a substantial One-Handed ($12) sandwich with fried egg, coarse sage sausage patty, and molten double cream cheese on a craggy house-made English muffin.
