On to the 10+ portion of the post. Learn about new and old spots that are tapping the good stuff in Orange County. You have choices practically anywhere you go.

Hollingshead’s Delicatessen is the granddaddy of beer locales and should be a required stop for beer geeks. Part sandwich shop and part bottle shop with 22 taps as well. Plus nearby in Orange you will find two Glassell Street beer + food restaurants to choose from. The related Haven Gastropub and Provisions offer two different experiences and plenty of beer choices within walking distance of each other.

Three other hip spots with very different themes also beckon: The Iron Press, Playground and Hopscotch. As the name suggests, Fullerton’s Hopscotch combines craft beer and whiskey in one tavern. They also serve up dishes “from the dirt”, “from the sea” and “from the farm.” Playground has a Bruery background from their Certified Cicerone and 15 taps in their DTSA home. Iron Press combines waffles and beer and can be found in either Costa Mesa or Anaheim. Order up some fried chicken and waffles with tots and a beer for a great afternoon.

Finish your trip off at the original and justly famous Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach. Make sure you check the Hop-Cam in advance to see what is pouring. And then order up the blue cheese grits.
