On Friday, December 5, the Wilshire Center Farmers’ Market resurfaces after several years’ hiatus in the courtyard of Wilshire Vermont, the 449-unit, mixed-use development at the northeast corner of Wilshire and Vermont.

The list of participants isn’t available yet, but a market representative promised “fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, crafts [and] some pre-prepared foods.”

Its a pretty sad ‘farmers market’. Ive been to LOTS of FMs in my day, and never have I been to one that cost as much if not more than the Vons up the street. The selection is about 10 things (avocados, oranges, lettuce, strawberries, onions, potatoes, etc. nothing worth making the trip), and over half the ‘market’ is prepared food!

What a waste.

That’s an excellent location for a Farmer’s Market. Nice post.
