AEG’s $2.5 billion L.A. LIVE entertainment district is gradually rolling out its dining options in downtown Los Angeles. This Friday, the venue will add a new branch of Lawry’s Carvery. The fast-casual offshoot of Lawry’s The Prime Rib is designed to provide a quick but satisfying meal before an event at Staples Center, NOKIA Theatre or Club NOKIA, to name just three nearby venues.
Expect to find several hand-carved sandwiches on fresh-baked bread, including the Prime Rib Original au jus, Carved Oven-Roasted Turkey and Barbeque Beef Brisket with smoky BBQ sauce. Signature sides are Creamed Corn, Horseradish Mashed Potatoes and Cool Asparagus with Lemon Aioli.
Lawry’s Carvery also features several entrée salads: the Carver Salad with warm Prime rib, egg, tomato, roasted red pepper, and horseradish dressing; the Southwestern Prime Rib Chop with spicy Prime rib, pepper Jack cheese, corn, black beans, BBQ lime ranch dressing and tortilla crisps; and a Turkey Cobb with bacon, egg, tomato, avocado and topped with bleu cheese.
For dessert, indulgent options include C.C. Brown’s Hot Fudge Sundae and crème brulée.
If downtown Los Angeles isn’t as convenient as you’d like, Lawry’s Carvery also operates a location at South Coast Plaza and the Westfield Century City dining terrace.
