A special on The Cooking Channel starring The Beer Chicks – Christina Perozzi and Hallie Beaune – airs Sunday March 4th! “They travel to New Orleans to taste local craft beer, go shrimpin’, eat fantastic food and down some artisanal cocktails, then return to LA where Food GPS’ Beer Float Showdown is underway. This week in Brew & You: A red carpet of beer, a Texas sized collaboration and a new homework assignment to complete in a post titled Oscar Worthy Beer.
Orange County native Kevin Clark relocated north and attended Cal State University, Monterey Bay. He got hooked on homebrew, attended Chicago’s beer-intensive Siebel Institute of Technology, and worked for Peter Lichet in San Jose, at both Tied House and Hermitage Brewing. Clark moved to Monterey to take the #2 role with Peter B’s Brewpub. The city’s only craft brewery resides on the bay-side of downtown’s Portola Hotel & Spa and refers to hotel owner Peter Bidstrup. In 2010, Clark took control of Peter B’s seven-barrel brewhouse. He immediately started diversifying the beer program, which now includes barrel aging and cask ales. Click Here to Learn More
