Im not sure if its a coincidence or what but Super bowl is that exact same day. :-p Anyway, we will have 32oz Pitchers for Happy Hour Prices, Pig Skin Chili, Blue Cheese Bacon Fries and add Bacon to any burger no charge. Also, free Bacon Popcorn.

Also, February 11th is our 3rd Annual Beer Dinner with Bear Republic. There’s a catch though…it s in Healdsburg at the Bear Republic Brewpub. This event will kick off SF Beer Week for both BR’s. In the meantime, Here is the menu for the Bear Republic beer dinner:

Congregation Ale House

Here is the latest from the Congregation chapters inAzusa & Pasadena, Pasadena will be hosting Victor Novak from TAPS tonight with beers like Bohemian Pils, Alt, Schwarzbier and the new Mocha Stout.

Azusa has Stone IPA, Lagunitas Pils, Firestone-Walker Double Jack and Chimay White plus a few other taps as well.

Eagle Rock Brewery

On tap beer wise: Solidarity, Manifesto wit, Revolution XPA, Populist IPA, Jubilee, The Deuce and Botany Bay ESB (on nitro too!). On the Food truck front, Thursday is Asian Cravings, Friday is Global Soul and Saturday brings the Rounds truck and Sunday brunch brought to you by the Flatiron truck.

Golden Road Brewing

According to a Golden Road rep, “The Pub is OFFICIALLY OPEN! We are having a Superbowl party in Sunday with New England Beer VS. NY beer specials. New England Clam Chowder VS. Manhattan Clam Chowder. Crab cake sandwiches vs. NY steak sandwiches. As well as a vegan chili. Super Bowl beers include Allagash White, Allagash Black, Ommegang Hennepin and Ommegang Three Philosophers. Every Thursday at 4pm, The Pub at Golden Road will be tapping a small cask of limited edition specialty cask-conditioned beer. Quantity is very limited, so this week’s beer will only be available for the next few weeks on THURSDAY evenings ’til the cask runs dry.”

Mixology Mondays continues on, you guessed it, Monday night. Come put your mad scientist skills to the test. We’re experimenting in the Lab by mixing great beers together to produce unique tasty blends. 60% La Chouffe and 40% Bad Influence IPA resulted in a fabulous tasting beer we call “Good Chouffe Bad Chouffe.” Do you have what it takes to create a new beer for our menu? Start with $2 tasters and if you discover something worthy of a full beer, we’ll credit your $2 back.”

Ladyface Ale Companie

From Robyn Britton at Ladyface: “Happy Groundhog Day! This week’s cask, “Dan, Dan, The Porter Man”, is named for Brewmaster Dave’s dad. For his birthday, Dan designed his own firkin, infusing his favorite Picture City Porter with orange peel and cinnamon. All taps are pouring Ladyface ales, including our new 2nd Anniversary Ale and cellar vintage ales such as Oaked Blue-Belly Barleywine, Syrah barrel-aged La Trappistine and Sauvignon Blanc barrel-aged Saison.

Sunday, Feb 5th, only the Ladyface bar will be open from 11:00am to 3:00pm and only serving snacks. We’re closing at 3:00pm for a private Super Bowl party. Don’t forget to grab a growler for Sunday’s big game! This Monday, February 6th is Music Monday 6:00 to 10:00pm as well as Cigar Night with our carefully selected scotch, brandy and port offerings.”

Vendome Toluca Lake’s weekly Beer Tasting is from 2-5 pm on Saturday and 12-3 pm Sunday. Each week has a theme and this week it is Lupulin Love! Since last Thursday, Phil McGovern’s iconic Santa Monica bar has added Ommegang Witte and Stone/Ninkasi/The Alchemist More Brown than Black to its taps. And on Super Bowl Sunday the festivities start at 1pm with BBQ and drink specials.

Other Beer-y Events

El Segundo Brewing Co. tap room will celebrate the coming of the hops, we thought we would have a little release party for the Citra Pale Ale. On Saturday February 4th, we will open our doors at 12 noon and start filling all your growler requests. Refills on Citra Pale will be just $15, a steal when one considers the ridiculous amount of hops we use for this beer.

Enegren Brewing in Moorpark has three beers on tap: Valkyrie – California Alt Beer (6.2%ABV), Protector – Imperial IPA (7.5%ABV) and Deviation Oatmeal Stout (7.3%ABV), and are open Fridays 7-9pm, Saturdays 11am-8pm and Sundays 12-5pm.

At Cabo Taco Grill in La Mirada on Friday February 3rd at 8pm is Beer School 2 for a Cost of $10. “Come in and learn about the history and versatility of Stouts. We will be serving 4 6oz samples of Guinness, Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout, Green Flash Double Oatmeal Stout, and Dogfish Chicory Stout. ”
