We have chosen to bring in six of their beers (bottle) to start with including a Belgian Style Golden Ale and an Espresso Coffee Imperial Stout.

Vendome Toluca Lake

Vendome Toluca Lake’s weekly Beer Tasting is from 2-5 pm on Saturday and 12-3 pm Sunday. Each week has a theme and this week it is “Stone Brewing tasting.”

“In a predictably arrogant fashion, Stone Brewing will be hosting a “tasting take-over” (if you will) this weekend here at Vendome. And while it might be hard to swallow insults from a beer company, Stone representatives Jonas and Colin will be on hand to make up for any (un)intended hurt feelings with their congenial personalities. You probably are wondering why you should come to this tasting, given the fact that if you’re a beer drinker you have no doubt tasted a Stone offering in the past. Well, to add some incentive, in addition to a great line-up of past and current offerings there will be some vintage ales on this tasting. Ales such as: 2008 Imperial Russian Stout and 2009 Old Guardian.

On top of that there will be some new releases as well that aren’t even in our inventory yet. New releases along the lines of: Bear Republic/Fat Head’s/Stone TBA Collaboration and 2012 Old Guardian Barley Wine.”

Okay, I get it, you’re trying to drive traffic to the site, but especially with dividing it into two pages, this is more cumbersome than the old email method. If this keeps up, I’ll be unsubscribing soon.

B.,

That’s a good point. I’m working on a revised format for the L.A. Beer Blast, and this is a transition version. In the future, I plan to limit the link to one page where you’ll receive all the information. Thanks!
