City Tavern

Starting December 1st City Tavern will be rotating holiday beers on multiple handles while they last. All through the month 4-5 handles will be dedicated to these dark, spiced, barrel aged, and seasonal brews.

Tonight: Golden Road Pint Night starting at 6pm. Featuring Point the Way IPA, Bavarian Style Hefewiezen, Schwartz Stout, and Rye on the Palate. With the order of any pint or flight of these Golden Road beers receive a Golden Road pint glass (limit one per customer).

Since last Thursday, Phil McGovern’s iconic Santa Monica bar has added Dogfish Head Hellhound on My Ale and Deschutes Fresh Hop Mirror Pond Pale ale to its taps.

Eagle Rock Brewery

On tap beer wise Solidarity, Solidarity on nitro, Manifesto wit, Revolution XPA, Populist IPA and Jubilee holiday ale. On the Food truck front, Friday brings Mandoline Grill. and on Saturday it is the Lobsta Truck. On Sunday the Flatiron truck will serve up brunch.

Vendome Toluca Lake’s weekly Beer Tasting is from 2-5 pm on Saturday and 12-3 pm Sunday. Each week has a theme and this week it is Farewell 2011 “This Sunday’s tasting will be our final beer tasting of 2011, and this time we mean it. No really, this is it! At Cabo Taco Baja Grill on December 15th, there will be a bottle share dinner. “To participate in this event each individual will bring in a minimum of 40oz. of Specialty Craft Beer. Each participant will be issued a wrist band that will allow them to sample from all of the offerings of the night. The LAB Brewing Company is hosting a fun beer tasting event on Sunday, December 18th at 2pm. We will have 2 experts on hand – our brewmaster Roger “Dr Hops” Bott as well as beer personality and certified cicerone Jace Milstead – to guide the tasting, discussion and Q&A for eight different beers of their choosing. Each participant will get 2 full flights of beer (8 x 5oz tasters), a tour of the brewing facilities, discounted food, 20% off growlers, and more. The cost is only $20.
