On June 11, Hollywood Raleigh Studios is home to the sixth annual LA WineFest, a large scale wine event founded by Dr. Joel M. Fisher featuring more than 100 wineries, 14 food trucks and an educational bent. General admission is from 2 PM – 6 PM, but the wine won’t stop flowing at 6. Not even close. From 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, they’re hosting a special VIP after-party, featuring hors d’oeuvres, live music, a special presentation by Robert Mondavi Winery and special pours courtesy of Ernst Hofer from Austria, Dutcher Crossing from Sonoma, Shai Cellars from Santa Barbara, Darms Lane from Napa and Ed Sellers of Paso Robles, to name just four wineries. 100% of proceeds from the VIP after-party go to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, which has been working to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions since 1983.
VIP after-party tickets cost $50 apiece, and LA WineFest generously donated two pairs of VIP passes to Food GPS readers. To become eligible, just comment below and on two other Food GPS posts. I’ll announce two winners on Food GPS and Twitter by 3 p.m. on June 10.
June 10 Update: Congratulations to Bryant Antonio and Talia on winning the VIP passes to LA WineFest.
