Chango Coffee Shop is an Echo Park institution that Susina Bakery owner Jenna Turner and Fix Coffee owner Marc Gallucci spiffed up in 2012. The space now features fetching murals indoors and out. High-backed banquette seating join wood tables, a marble counter, and shelves featuring foods you’d actually want to eat. Chango also serves a seriously good off-menu Mint Lemonade.

Chango Coffee Shop lemonade costs $2.75 for 16 ounces and $3.25 for 20 ounces. This lemonade isn’t exactly crafted from magical citrus. Hell, the lemons actually come from concentrate, but when combined with water, sugar, and a fresh mint blizzard, the beverage becomes ultra refreshing on a hot day. That’s a very good thing, since there are a hell of a lot of hot days in Echo Park.
