Library Bar has earned acclaim in downtown Los Angeles for their specialty cocktails and beer selection. The Times’ Jessica Gelt first reported that Library Bar owners Will Shamlian and Michael Leko intended to add food. Last night, the duo began serving a concise food menu after consulting with friend/chef Nick Coe. Nine dishes are available Monday through Friday from 5 PM – 11 PM.
STARTERS
- Grilled Artichoke ($10) with lemon garlic confit
- Pork Belly Skewers ($6) with spicy maple glaze, cilantro, lime
- Deviled Marrowbones ($9) with shaved fresh horseradish, shallots and parsley with grilled bread
- Steak Fries ($6) tossed with hot pork fast and sea salt, with hickory dipping sauce
- French Fries ($5) fresh cut, with seasoned salt
MAINS
- The Library Burger ($10) with grilled onions, house-made pickles, Gruyere, arugula. w/French fries ($13)
- Hickory Burger ($10) with grilled onions, Tillamook cheddar, iceberg, hickory sauce. w/French fries ($13)
- Pork Belly Sandwich ($10) with arugula, tomatoes, house-made pickles, grilled sourdough. w/French fries ($13)
- Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($8) with Asiago and Gruyere, tomato tapenade, sourdough. w/French fries ($11)
