Lucky Devils

On tap at Lucky Devils this week are Craftsman Scotch Isle Ale (only a little left!), Uinta Black IPA, Stone 2011 Belgo Anise Imperial Russian Stout, Bootlegger’s Dr. Tounge Brown IPA, Smog City XPA, Wandering Aengus Anthem Cherry Cider, Duvel Single, along with 7 other great drafts. And in bottle we got Alpine’s Pure Hoppiness, Pliny The Elder, Blind Pig, and lots of other great bottles to chose from.

Stacked in the back we have Avery Maharaja, Bear Republic Ryevalry, Avery/Russian River Collaboration Not Litigation, Telegraph California Ale, Brouwerij West 5 Blonde, Hanger 24 Cali Spring Beer.

For you hop heads we’re pouring Hangar 24 Double IPA, Strand Black IPA, Avery Maharaja and Bootlegger’s Knuckle Sandwich. For the dark beer lovers we’ve got AleSmith Speedway Stout, Ballast Point Sea Monster and Heretic Shallow Grave. For the beautiful weekend coming up we’ve got a couple on the lighter side with Fox Barrel Berry cider and Dogfish Tweason’ale, a gluten free brewed with Strawberries.

Adam Aro reports, “Well by the time you post this, our Russian River night will have been a hit! Some of the gems up now are Ballast Point Victory at Sea vanilla/coffee imperial porter, Brewdog Tokyo 18.2% cranberry/jasmine imperial stout, and Craftsman El Prieto dark sour. Cask is currently Cismontane Citizen (California common) dry-hopped with nugget (super high alpha acids).”

This 7% witbier was brewed with fresh ginger root, navel, cara cara, and blood oranges. “FARM TO BOTTLE” and now keg.”

Mohawk Bend

On tap in Echo Park are Firestone-Walker Double Jack, Mission Dark Seas Imperial Stout, Strand 24th Street Pale ale and Epic beers from Utah like Pfeifferhorn lager or Hopulent. “St. Patty’s day aside – March still has plenty of reasons to celebrate the pint, such as Mohawk Bend’s upcoming Pint Nights featuring Firestone Brewery and Anchor Brewing. Both nights start at 5pm and feature 4 different beers from the selected brewery, and reps from both Firestone and Anchor Brewing will be on hand to discuss the different brews. March 14th: Firestone Walker Pint Night – a 4 beer flight featuring their limited edition Velvet Merkin (a barrel aged version of Firestone’s Oatmeal Stout, Velvet Merlin), $13

March 26th Anchor Brewing Pint Night – a 4 beer flights featuring their brand new Zymaster Series #1 (an imperial California steam beer), $10.

Epic brews are still on and we will be having another beer dinner coming up on March 28th – it’ll be $35 – $45 and the menu is yet to be determined but there will be vegan and non-vegan options and seating in the entire restaurant. There will be an Epic Brewing representative at the dinner to talk with guests and answer any questions.”

Sunset Beer Co.

From Alex Macy at Sunset, “We’ve got Cismontane coming out this Friday, along with the Grilled Cheese truck at 7:30. We’ll be pouring Cismontane Citizen, Coulter IPA, Black’s Dawn, Classified Doppelsticke, Dos Cone Es, and Chardonnay Barrel-Aged Cismontaps Saison!

But right now, we’re pouring: Ballast Point Pale Ale, Golden Road Hefe, Allagash Saison Mihm, Golden Road Get Up Offa That Brown, Telegraph Rhinoceros, and Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout.
